Plunge into the ocean
Fresh & clean & pure
All troubles melt away
At the end of a long day

These days I've exchanged
Far-off tourist places
For sights of greater wonder~
Beads of dew upon a flower

The gardenias on my patio
Bloom with as much beauty
Under another name
In a far-off country

While the waves break,
foaming
The shore stays calm, unmoving

Flotsam and jetsam
Have tales to tell

Your clouds bring neither rain nor storm
But colour to my sunset sky.

Beauty may be fleeting and soon depart
But you can still find it
Hidden deep within your heart

Who will remain to sing the songs

If I sit at the shore of life

Listening to whispers from beyond?
